The Link Secondary School

The Link Secondary School specialises in meeting the needs of pupils who have Speech, Language and Communication difficulties and provides placements for pupils from a number of local authorities. We are situated in the London Borough of Sutton and are easily accessible by public transport from Waddon Station and well placed to draw upon a wide range of leisure, recreational and educational facilities having easy access to Surrey and London.

We are a non-maintained special school and part of the Link Day School Limited which was founded in 1966 and is a registered charity. The Charity also operates the Link Primary School which is located only 100 metres from the secondary school. We are very proud of our rich history which has helped shape who we are today.  To read more about our past please click here.

At the July 2015 Governing Body meeting, the Governors agreed the following strategic direction for the Link Secondary School:

Our vision: Every Link child and young person will achieve their full potential

Our mission: We are a warm, caring, inclusive and supportive community providing personalised learning opportunities for children and young people.

Our values:    Our values, Child Centred, Nurturing, Ambitious and Team-working, create a shared culture and guide how we make decisions

We aim to provide brilliant teaching and facilities, offer a creative curriculum that stretches and rewards all pupils, engage all parents in their children’s learning and engage the wider community in the life of the school to help children develop the independent and social skills they need to thrive.
